The week started off with a fun and sorta crazy lesson. So a few weeks ago we tracted into this youth pastor and talked to him about the Book of Mormon and stuff and we were finally able to set up an appointment with him and he invited a couple of his pastor buddies over and it was intense. It wasn't nearly as Bible Bashy as I thought it would be though which was good. They were asking us tricky questions about the law of justification and brought up some interesting concerns about the Book of Mormon. We handled it smoothly though (thank you spirit). The member we brought was also a perfect fellowship which helped to calm the waves.
On Wednesday we had a great lesson with this little family from Honduras. They have an 8 year old and 11 year old boy who just love the gospel and they remembered basically everything they read in the restoration pamphlet. It really wowed me how ready these kids seem to get baptized. Being all grown up now, it can be easy to forget how spiritually in tune little kids can be and that they really are accountable at such a young age. So they both accepted a baptismal invite and their Mom said maybe? Idk she didn't give us a clear answer but they are such an elect little family I'm sure it will work out.
Thursday morning we had our last interviews with President Craig before he goes home which was really good but also very sad. Its crazy to think about how much of an effect he has had on so many lives. What a guy. He told Elder Smith in his interview that he probably won't keep us together for another transfer which is sad. Elder Smith is a good one.
Hmm idk what else to really say about this week. Its been kind of slow and we haven't been doing as much finding as we should've, but this next week is going to be way better. Hmm yeah I can't think of anything else to say. It's been a bit of a grind with the work, but we're going to get it going. With God all things are possible!
